Medium Size Ship's Barometer $199 We also offer two sizes of non-chiming ship's clocks and barometers. These German-made ship's clocks and barometers can either be purchased separately or as matched sets and come with a one year warranty. Both sizes of barometers feature precision German aneroid movements that are calibrated up to 3500 feet above sea level, and both clocks have extremely accurate battery operated Japanese quartz movements with sweep second hands (require standard AA battery not included). Both sizes of barometers have an adjustable reference pointer that can be set to the previous barometric reading to indicate if the atmospheric pressure is rising or falling. Rising barometric pressure indicates improving weather and falling pressure indicates a worsening climate. Both barometers are factory calibrated for sea level and have adjustment screws for other altitudes. All ship's clocks and barometers come complete with brass mounting screws. The medium size brass ship's clock and barometer have porthole style brass cases with hinged beveled glass covers. The medium size clock and barometer measure 5 1/2 inches (14.0 cm) in diameter, and 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm) deep (not including screws). The medium size clock weighs 2 pounds, 5.6 ounces (1.07 kg) and the medium size barometer weighs 2 pounds, 4.8 ounces (1.04 kg). Large Size Ship's Barometer $285 Our Large-Sized Ship's Clock is made from solid brass and has a tough protective clear coating that elminates fingerprints and tarnishing. The instrument also has extremely accurate battery operated Japanese quartz movements with a sweep second hand (require standard AA battery not included). The clock has a traditional brass case with beveled glass. Like the Medium-Sized Barometer, our Large-Sized Barometer features precision German aneroid movements that are calibrated up to 3500 feet above sea level. The barometer makes a perfect match to the Large-Sized Ship's Clock. It is also made of solid brass and features a protective coating to prevent fingerprints and tarnishing.
